Hello, and Happy Christmas week!! This holiday week, I have the pleasure of introducing you all to Tori Monet. Tori and I go back to training in Texas together with our mutual trainer, and all the way to NYC! Tori has got a fun furry family, and I can't wait for you to meet them... Lets dive in!

Meet the Person-
1. What is your name?
my name is Tori Monet, M-O-N-E-T.
2. What is your calling in life?
I feel like my calling in life is to be an advocate for people. I have a love for others and I love helping others.
3. What is your favorite color?
light blue
4. What is your favorite type of food or meal?
I love red Curry from any Thai restaurant. Red Curry and brown rice together is like my favorite thing of all time.
5. What is a smell that makes you happy?
I would say anything fruity. Especially like coconut scent.
6. Where and how did you grow up?
I grew up in Houston, Texas. I grew up in a very supportive family. So, anything that I ever wanted to go after my family has always been super supportive. I have two sisters and we're all doing our own things. And, our family... I feel like has always been the backbone for us. Our parents are so great and they support us and love us and encourage us to do anything that we set out to do.
7. What inspired you to do what you're doing now?
Honestly, I'm so inspired by others and seeing people go after things that they're passionate about and that they love. I got signed a long time ago and I really didn't do a lot of modeling in high school because I was so busy. But whenever I graduated from high school and I started college... I went to college for a year before I decided to pursue modeling full time. I feel like just that drive and passion and just wanting to succeed at something that I loved really has me where I'm at right now. I'm very driven and focused and I love what I do. I'm thankful I've been able to do it for this long.
8. If you could tell your younger self something you wish you knew now, what would it be?
To not care about what anybody thinks about you. I feel like especially in the industry that we are in, it's all about people they're trying to form the way that they are to somebody's opinion of them or trying to fit into a box. I feel like that's the wrong thing to do. You should always be you and be yourself because nobody is you and you have that power. We all are different from each other and I feel like that's the coolest thing.
9. If you had super powers, what would they be?
my super power would be to see the future. I'm a big like, "Oh my gosh, what's going to happen next." person. I want to know everything.
10. Who is your fashion icon or role model?
I would say Karlie Kloss. She always has been and I love that... She's not only a model but she's a brand.
11. If you had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?
hardworking
12. What are the unwritten rules of where you work?
I feel like professionalism is an unwritten rule. The professionalism of how you approach set, working with a crew and just everybody around you. There are some people that are not professional and there's some people that are.
13. What are some things that sound like compliments that are actually insults?
I would say when somebody tells you that “you should go on America's Next Top Model. Because you could be this big deal” and I'm like, "That is not a compliment." I feel like I'm already five steps ahead of those girls on that show.
14. If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?
Maybe what others think of me... I would love to be a fly on the wall and just see what do I look like in real life? Being an outsider, looking in at my life.

Emma- Chihuahua
Zoe- wire-haired terrier
Ollie- a Norwegian Dwarf bunny.
3. how old are you?
Zoe- I’m 10.
Emma- I’m 5
Ollie- I’m 3!
4. If you all had superpowers what would it be?
Emma- I would want to be in control of everybody because I’m bossy.
Zoe- a superpower that would make me more social without being nervous because I’m a rescue, and sort of shy…
Ollie- to travel the world. I’m very curious.
5. Who are your role models in life?
Zoe- Tori’s mom
Emma- Tori!
Ollie- Tori, duh
6. Tell us your adoption or rescue stories?
Emma- I was rescued from a shelter Spring, Texas. Somebody had just dropped me off. I am just the sweetest little thing. I still am. I am very vocal and very sweet and I was very nervous at first but now I fit into our family perfectly!
Zoe- I’ve got a very funny story. I was rescued twice by Tori because first time I was rescued from a hoarders house, and ended up in a shelter. Then when Tori’s family rescued me, I decided to run away…
Tori made signs for me, and went looking for me for literally two days straight. My shelter name was Margarita. Tori went yelling "Margarita" out of the car. I'm sure the neighbors thought they were drunk or something. A guy he saw my sign, and called two days later. I had been living in a vacant home, camping out there.
Well, they find me and I tried to dart away again. Tori’s dad dove to catch me (he's a baseball player) He was just holding onto me for dear life and he was like, "Call your mom, tell her where we are. I'm not letting go of this dog."
So, they found me again (I was kinda difficult to begin with hehe) and Tori’s dad had cracked a rib when he dove for me. Now I am the most loyal and sweetest dog in the world. I promise.
Ollie- I came from a lady in our community called the “bunny grandma”, and she breeds Norwegian rabbits. I was the runt of the whole litter. They didn't know if I was going to make it. But I’m such a sweetie and all good now
7. What’re your favorite colors?
Ollie- blue
Emma- pink
Zoe- red
8. What are your ultimate cheat meals?
Ollie- a real carrot... A big one! And apple.
Emma- something sweet like a cookie (with no chocolate obviously).
Zoe- anything that falls from the table!
9. what nicknames do you go by?
Zoe- Zo or Zoe
Ollie- bun bun bun. It's like “little bunny”
Emma- just Em.
10. What is the best and worst thing about being a dog and a bunny?
Ollie- as a rabbit, the worst would probably be that I have to live in my cage for a lot of the time. But the best is that Tori takes me out on a leash they let me romp around! I love to explore and just see everything.
Emma/Zoe- The best part is probably that we get to lounge around. We’ve got no responsibilities! The worst part would be that we don't get to run around as much as we’d like.
11. what would be your perfect day as a bunny or a dog?
Ollie- lie out and lounge around in the grass and the sun outside and get to have my favorite carrot. Also, hang out with the bunnies in our neighborhood that run around!
Zoe/Emma- Our perfect day would be that we get to lie on the couch and watch hallmark Christmas movies, and be snuggled up in our favorite blanket! We love blankets and we each have one.
Meet the Family!
1. Take us through your morning routines together.
My morning routine with Ollie is normally filling up his water bottle, making sure his food is stocked and giving him more hay because he literally is upset if he doesn’t have it. He eats so much for such a tiny thing, I always love to take him out of the cage and I let him romp around on carpet and sometimes if I have on a snugly robe, he loves to just burrow up and just take in all the cuddles.
Emma and Zoe both go out first thing in the morning, them romp around outside because they love being outside in the sunshine. After that, they sit with me while I have my hot tea. Zoe cuddles up on a blanket. Emma will sit in your lap like The Princess and the Pea.
2. Do you ever dress alike?
Zoe does not like to be dressed. So we always just let her be. For Emma we have a ton of outfits. We have look alike designer dresses, and for Halloween we dressed up as princesses. We have Juicy Couture jackets as well for Emma. Ollie, we actually have some outfits for too. We have a little Santa hat for him, little shirt, and a cute little vest for him.
3. What is your favorite thing to do together?
For Ollie, it's me, and him running away from me mostly hahah. He loves to play with the dogs too. And it's really sweet that they like to play together because you never know what the dynamics will be.
Emma, hers would be, she loves for me to carry her around everywhere. She's a very needy chihuahua which is great. I love that, but I would say for us, it's probably just lying around cuddling. Zoe loves to lie on the couch and lie on the dog bed and lie everywhere I would say.
4. Is there anything your pets do that can get on your nerves?
For Ollie it's whenever he is in his cage and he flips the bunny bedding outside of the cage and then it's everywhere. For Emma it's any time you make a move, she barks. She wants everybody to know and then it rounds all the other dogs up. Zoe, I would say what gets me annoyed about her is if I'm in a robe, my comfy robe when I wake up, I come down the stairs, and she just loves me! She loves me in general, but when I am in my robe, she loves me, she will come up and cuddle, but as soon as I put on real clothes or heels or whatever, she will bark at me, like she doesn't know who I am.
5. what is the best thing about having each other?
The best thing about having each is how loyal she is they are. They are the definition of a man's best friend or a woman's best friend.
As for Ollie, I would say it's just so fun having a rabbit and seeing that rabbit be so curious about things around you and seeing them romp around. I just get joy when I play with him and hang out together.
The best thing about having all of them is just the comfort that they bring and the happiness and love.
6. What's your favorite memory together?
I would say for Emma, the day we got her because she was just so tiny and so petite. I love rescuing dogs because you're getting to give them a new life. You get to be the reason that they get to go outside and have fun and they don't have to be scared. I always tell people if you can, I would rescue a dog because they're just the best. There's nothing like a rescue dog. And I would say the same for Zoe. For Ollie, I would say the day we picked him up from the bunny grandma!
7. what is the funniest thing each of your pets have done?
Okay. So Zoe one time, (we have rabbits that run in our neighborhood) and Zoe is one of those kinds of dogs that goes outside and they find something and they bring it in the house because they think they're doing a good thing. Well, one time Zoe, came back in and she had something in her mouth… it was a little tiny baby rabbit and it was not dead. It was alive, but it was almost like she rescued this rabbit from outside and brought it into our home! We ended up nursing the baby rabbit back to health and we letting it go, after we helped it out. Emma does stuff on a daily basis that we're like, Oh my God, Emma, what are you doing? Her daily antics of whatever she does we're just like Emma Oh my gosh, girl, chill.
Ollie, I would say, when him and the dogs are playing together, that is just so funny to see and just fascinating to watch.
8. How long have each of you been together?
We've had Emma for 4 years. For ollie we've had him for 3 years. And then Zoe, we've had her for 10 years.
9. What's the hardest thing about caring for your pet?
The hardest thing I would say for all of them is just how dogs don't live as long as humans. So it's so hard, caring for these sweet animals and their lifespan is not as long as ours is. I feel if I could change anything, it would be that they could live as long as we do.
10. Do your pets inspire you? And if so, how and why?
They do inspire me. I would say Zoe inspires me the most just because of her journey and her story. And it's been really neat to see a dog come from a hoarder's house to being social and carefree and loving. And I feel that's just a great story and it's inspirational to me. I'm so thankful that we could rescue her and I feel anybody should rescue if they can, because it's the greatest blessing and the greatest gift to be able to give a dog a second chance at life and being able to see them happy.
11. lastly, if you and your pets were an iconic duo, this could be from anywhere TV, movies, celebrities, history, who would it be and why?
Charlie's Angels.
